Join us in a collective HIGH-FIVE as we team up with the folks at Small Change Fund to raise the profile of one of our youth programs!
Small Change Fund supports grassroots community projects in Canada by connecting them to a community of individual donors whose support has a high impact at the local level.
In 2010, our SEAS (Supporting Emerging Aboriginal Stewards) Youth Science Internship program was one of the Seven Small Wonders of Canada. With help from Small Change, we were able to meet our goal of raising $5,000 to support the internship program.
We’re excited and grateful to be working with Small Change once again – this time to raise support for our Koeye River Youth Camp program! SCF is profiling our proposed Sacred Waters Week, a theme camp concerned with stewardship of our traditional waters.
You can learn all about the Sacred Waters Week vision by viewing the project here. I know you’ll be as excited as I am, and I’m sure you’ll be looking for ways to show your support!
